Move Better. Feel Better. Live Better.

Physical therapy is one of the most effective ways to recover from injury, manage chronic pain, and maintain independence as you age. At Mobile Therapy & Consulting, our licensed physical therapists bring expert care directly to senior living communities across San Diego County — and also serve patients of all ages from the broader community.

Whether you're recovering from surgery, managing arthritis, or working to prevent falls, our team creates individualized treatment plans that address your specific goals. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all programs. Every patient receives a thorough evaluation and a personalized path to recovery.

Our physical therapists are experienced in treating a wide range of conditions, from orthopedic injuries and neurological disorders to age-related mobility challenges. We use evidence-based techniques combined with compassionate care to help you achieve the best possible outcomes.

What to Expect

Initial Evaluation: Your first visit includes a comprehensive assessment of your strength, flexibility, balance, pain levels, and functional abilities. We listen to your goals and concerns to build a plan that works for you.

Treatment Sessions: Typical sessions are 45-60 minutes and may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, balance training, gait training, and education on home exercises you can do between visits.

Progress Tracking: We regularly reassess your progress and adjust your treatment plan to ensure you're continually moving toward your goals. You'll see measurable improvements documented at each milestone.

Discharge & Maintenance: When you've reached your goals, we provide a home exercise program and wellness strategies to maintain your gains long-term.

Quick Tip: The 30-Second Chair Stand Test

Want to check your leg strength at home? Sit in a sturdy chair with your arms crossed over your chest. Stand up and sit down as many times as you can in 30 seconds. For adults over 65, fewer than 8 repetitions may indicate a need for strengthening. This is one of the assessments our physical therapists use during evaluations. If you're concerned about your results, ask your nurse about a referral or contact us directly.

"I was using a walker and afraid of falling every time I stood up. After eight weeks of physical therapy with Mobile Therapy & Consulting, I graduated to a cane and now I walk to the dining room on my own every day. They gave me my confidence back."
